About these features

The Dispute Resolution Practice Group offers professional expertise in the resolution and management of disputes in various areas of law. He served law enforcement regulators, protected classified information from disclosure, defended government decisions, and responded to federal complaints. In these roles you will:

Actively assist our lawyers and other legal support teams to provide our clients with a high standard of legal service

Assistance in preparing court documents and other correspondence

Maintain legal documents and help clients with queries

Manage lawyers’ schedules and travel

Ensure administrative procedures such as billing and customer reporting comply with relevant AGS requirements.

About you

Ideally, selected candidates will have:

Some experience in legal support is an advantage, but not necessary, for the APS3 Legal Administrative Assistant role

At least 2 years experience as a paralegal in an APS4 paralegal position

Genuine commitment and professional approach to customer service

Attention to detail and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Good judgment and ability and willingness to perform a variety of tasks

Good written and oral communication skills

Interested in training and development to learn new skills

Familiarity with common software applications (e.g. Word, Outlook, Adobe)

Ability to be flexible and work in a team.

About the function:

Looking for part-time positions (2-3 days/week). Ideally, you will have a strong accounting background, be able to manage your accounting needs and assist with the administrative functions of your architecture studio.

Able to work independently and be self-reliant

Willing to work in person from offices in Ballarat and Melbourne, as well as from home

Familiarity with accounting procedures and debt collection regulations
