Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor and working in the challenging and exciting environment of the Pilbara Mining Operations Mobile Maintenance team, you are expected to:
Regular maintenance and troubleshooting of various mobile devices
Perform preventive maintenance checks
Ensure high quality maintenance standards are maintained
Identify opportunities to improve equipment or work procedures

The Roxby Downs client was looking for an experienced underground electrician to work on the Olympic dam site. Its role is to place, finish, protect and restore concrete for small construction projects. You will work alongside a dedicated team and a company that offers career development opportunities. The position will begin tentatively.
The main responsibilities include:
Install the complete electrical system underground.
Diagnose faults in systems, equipment and components using test equipment.
Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers and other components.
Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and repair needs to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
Test electrical systems and installations in accordance with AS3000.
Review plans and specifications for installing electrical wiring as needed.
Use a variety of tools and equipment such as electrical construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools and test equipment to complete tasks.
Install conduit in designated partitions, walls, and other hidden areas, secure electrical switches and receptacles to walls, and pull insulated wires or cables through conduit to complete the circuit.
Perform preventative maintenance, inspect equipment and find/fix problems before they fail.
Repair and maintenance of various electrical equipment. Replace circuit breakers, fuses, switches, electrical and electronic components or wires.
A certificate of competency for completion of all tasks performed.
Read service ordersor receive instructions from supervisors, or owners to determine job requirements
Perform inspection, cleaning, storage and disposal of electrical products
Supervise and mentor apprentices to help add value to the business

Related Commercial Certificate – Electrician
Three years of progressively responsible electrical experience in an industrial environment
Current unrestricted registrations for electrical workers in South Australia
